Founded over a century ago, the Mayr-Melnhof Holz Holding AG is one of the most traditional European wood industry companies. The Mayr-Melnhof Holz Group has sawmills in four locations: Leoben (Austria), Frankenmarkt (Austria), Paskov (Czech Republic), Efimovskij (Russia), as well as four timber processing companies: Reuthe (Austria), Eppingen-Richen (Germany), Gaishorn (Austria) and Kalwang (Austria).

Mayr-Melnhof has a staff of 1850 in the countries Austria, Czech Republic, Germany and Russia.
